Who are Anglia SportCast?

We are a group of sea anglers whos aim is to help our fellow anglers to find those elusive fish by reaching their full casting potential while promoting safety on the beach. We have members that are or have represented England at international level, youngsters that are just starting out and every level in between. We currently have about 100 member. If you are already an accomplished caster who is looking to improve the technical side of your casting or an out and out tournament caster you are all very welcome.


What can we do for you?

It does not matter whether you cast a fixed spool (mangle ) or a multiplier; we can help you with both. Or if you want to move to a multiplier we can help you with that too. We are sponsored by Ultima Line so on tournament days have access to free line to spool up with.
Although we are sponsored by a rod manufacturer it does not matter what make of rod you have. All we are concerned about is that the rod suits YOU and the type of fishing that you do. We can help you with any style of casting from off the ground, pendulum to back casting.


Where are we?

Our practices and tournaments days are held on a field at the ConstructionSkills (formally the CITB) training centre which is on the site of the former RAF Bircham Newton airfield in west Norfolk, 10 miles from Fakenham and 15 miles from King's Lynn.

When? (This has been changed please read)

We practice on Saturday afternoons from 1PM most of the year, although it would be best to check the message board to make sure that someone will be there. We have NOW changed back to having a practice on a Tuesday evening and no longer practice on a Sunday.

Everyone is welcome to come along and meet us and find out more about us, whether you are 5 or 500.
If you want to cast on that day, for insurance reasons, we do have to ask you to become a member.
