A big thank you
to all of you that attended the recent two day charity event we staged at High Kelling on the weekend of the 22-23 August. It was good to see so many new faces and to see some of the youngsters having a go too.
We raised
£2552
for the East Anglia air Ambulance
so again a big thank you for those who attanded and for those that supported us by supplying us with the raffle prizes and other supplies. |

That's it for tournaments in 2011.
A very big thank you to all of you that participated during the season.
We had a good a good time and several of us set new personal bests during the season too, even if some were set during the pratice sessions afterwards.
On very positive note, two anglers came to watch the last tournament of the season and during the day learned a few safety tips and one noted that his own rods had the reel seats too high up on the road and why it was an issue for him. During the practice afterwards they became aware of how far they were currently casting, nowhere as far as they had thought. We gave them some pointers to help them through this winter and hopefully they will be joining us during the spring to get help to gain that extra distance that they are looking for.
Here's hoping for a good winter on the beaches and see you all next spring.

2008 UKSF Clubmans Anglia come 2nd |

Congratulations to all those who represented the club on the 28th September. This was by all accountsa close event with Anglia taking the 2nd spot thanks to Andy's last round cast. There were 6 clubs represented with 48 casters on the day. All results in meters Club results 1st was Kent Sportcast with a combined total of 1820.06 2nd was Anglia Sportcast with a combined total of 1768.30 3rd was NWSA with a combined total of 1764.31
Individual results for Anglia were Dave Richardson 238.22 5th Kevin Southey 229.17 13th Jason Carter 225.48 15th Paul Allsop 222.92 19th Pat Field 218.17 23rd Any Crosson 214.28 24th Dave Vicary 214.18 31st Cain Plumb 206.18
